kind of bruin

Sue and I flew to Tampa last Thursday. We had not heard from Grandma and Grandpa all week, but had given them our fight information at Thanksgiving. We called them at the Columbus airport to tell them that our flight was going to be delayed. Grandma told me that our bed was all ready for us. I replied that it better be because we were going to be sleeping in it that night. They had thought that we were comming next week, but grandma said they would leave as soon as she got her pants on. So thus started our weekend with Grandma and Grandpa. We arrived at 11 p.m. and they drove us to Winter Haven. We ate and went to flea markets. We got to eat some really fresh fruit and played pool and cards. Here are some picturers from the weekend.

Our last day in Flordia turned out to be very windy and cold (for south Flordia). The Miami news was all abuzz with the low 40’s temps. They could not immagin that some one would swim on a day like this. Sue and I swam he day before in the ocean. Water temps were around 78 with the air a brisk 70. We had fun though. More picturers are to come from the real camera soon.

Here is what a rain storm can do. Make you sit on the free way and have enough time to think that a picture of the sky would be cool for your blog. So here it is. I uploaded it after getting home from work btw, It is hard to picture post to your blog while driving in the rain.

I did not do anything noteworthy this weekend. Though Sue and I went bowling with a friend of hers from work… After a shaky start, I managed to bowl a 92 and a 108. Sue kicked my ass with a 115 and a 130 something. I think we have found another sport that she is better than me. Oh well. Then today I cleaned our bath room and the pig cage. You are now smarter for reading this blog.

Next week, Sue and I are going to be traveling to the Sunshine State to see my grandparents and go to a conference for work. It should be fun with pictures from Florida forthcoming. So here are some holiday pictures from our house.
