week roundup
Bruin | 05.14.2005 | 18:35We did stuff this week, we just did not take our camera with us to document for all time. We took Katelyn to dinner at Old Bag of Nails on Tuesday. On Wednesday we played softball for my work team. I got defaulted into coaching by suggesting that the office play softball. We won the game 14-8. We were up 10-1, but The Roids staged seven run comeback in the bottom of the fifth. With the sixth being the last new inning because of time, we scored four more runs. Sue pitched and I played center field, as we only played with nine players. Chad, Zach and I hit home runs for the team and Annette hit a double by burning the other teams outfield. On Thursday, Sue went to a play, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), with two of her friends from work, Julia and Jill. On Friday we went to Julia and Adam’s house to take part in a partner switching round robin euchre tournament. I was not informed of the 5 dollar entry fee, and subsequently told every one that I did not gamble. Jill then threw back at me the fact that I had taken part in my office’s pool for the NCAA basketball tournament. While this is not particularly interesting, Sue at told the girls exactly what I would do when I learned that money was being involved and I did exactly what she said. BTW I won the tournament taking 45 points (Sue had 31) and $40.
That’s our work week activities.
