softball record

Buds & Roses

Team Wins Loss Tie PCT GB Runs Gaveup
1 UA Pub 7 1 0 .875 92 20
2 O’Reilly’s Russian Quaaludes 7 1 0 .875 87 53
3 American Consulting 5 3 0 .625 2 86 81
4 The Roids 3 4 0 .429 3.5 50 60
5 Clintonvillians 2 4 0 .333 4 58 73
6 Reds 2 4 0 .333 4 37 51
7 Red Capital Group 1 5 0 .167 5 21 61
8 Support Care 1 6 0 .143 5.5 38 70

Here is my softball league record. This week we played O’Reilly’s again and lost again. This time we lost by 6 runs. As you can see, our offence is pretty good and our defense is pretty bad, which makes our games exciting to watch anyway. Our three losses are against the top two teams which does not make me feel too bad. We only have two regular season games left, against The Roids and the Reds. If we win those two games, we would stay in third place and make the Buds and Roses mini play off. In which we would play the fourth place team, and if we win that game we would play the second place team for a chance to go on to the big playoff. We will just have to wait and see.

happy anniversary

Happy anniversary Suzie. Three years ago Sue and I got married on a hot hot Saturday. Today we get to play softball. I could have not asked for a better woman to marry. So here is to the next three years.

indians game

18 06 2005

Go Indians, at least when we are in Cleveland. We visited Cleveland for the second consecutive week. This time uncle Jeff took us to a Indians game. We had good seats in right field as you can see in the above picture. I also posted a few camera phone picts of the fireworks after the game. I think Sue and Ron liked the fireworks much more than the actual game. The Indians won 3-1, btw.

Update… Here are Sue’s pictures too.

week review or a couple of days at least

18 06 2005

Nothing much new this week. On Monday, my cousin Lacy came for the night because she had to take her state boards to become a licensed massage therapist early Tuesday morning. On Wednesday we had our weekly softball game in which we won to put us to 4-3. We should be 5-2, but last week we had about 5 people who were late because of rain and traffic and we had to forfeit. Oh well here is just a picture of a bunny in the front yard. Darcy has been barking her head off lately because the bunnies are everywhere.
