Here is the whorl wind tour of the rest of our vacation.

Saturday…began with Sue, Terri and Ellen all heading out to run a few errands. Sue needed to try on bridesmaids dresses for Terri’s upcoming wedding. They also needed to pick up tickets for a comedy show at the box office to save the five dollar “convenience” surcharge from Ticketmaster. Along the way Ben called and said he needed picking up because he had flatted three times on his bike and his chain was about to break. So Terri and the girls drove in the middle of no where to pick him up. Then they drove back home to Terri’s to drop every one off to get ready to go to the beach. Dress trying on was shoved to another day, and Terri was going to run into town to pick up the tickets. That is if Sue had not decided to be helpful and took Terri’s purse out of the car. Terri realized this only after driving to town.

So after this we finally made it to Folly Beach where I flew my kite, played in the surf, and burnt my feet (see previous post). We did not stay long enough for my satisfaction, because were on a tight schedule. We had to eat and get to the comedy show at 6:30. So we ate some where and watched a three person “Second City” type improv troupe, the Have Nots.

Sunday we made it to Isle of Palms for the beach for a few hours, but on the way we had to make the dress try on detour. Ben and I luckily got to skip out and went to a book store for a half hour or so. We then ate some good Mexicanish food at SoCal Burrito. The girls got cold so we left the beach after two hours, we came home and Terri grilled some delicious chicken and vegetables. Then we went dancing to a local bar than Ben and Terri visit. They had a jazz band and Ben, Terri and their Swing buddies danced the night away. Sue got to dance with 3 guys before I staked my claim and had the last two dances with her.

Monday found us in the middle of a pretty large thunderstorm in the morning. Ellen had never visited Charleston, so we walked down town and along the Battery. We ate at this great little Ti restaurant. The service was lousy, but they made up for it with some delicious cuisine.

Tuesday we woke up early and had breakfast with Terri before saying adieus and good by.
We always enjoy our trips to Charleston. We have made them the last 4 years. Here is a link to some of the photos we took.
