Here is my softball league record. This week we played O’Reilly’s again and lost again. This time we lost by 6 runs. As you can see, our offence is pretty good and our defense is pretty bad, which makes our games exciting to watch anyway. Our three losses are against the top two teams which does not make me feel too bad. We only have two regular season games left, against The Roids and the Reds. If we win those two games, we would stay in third place and make the Buds and Roses mini play off. In which we would play the fourth place team, and if we win that game we would play the second place team for a chance to go on to the big playoff. We will just have to wait and see.
I guess we aren’t so bad after all!
I think next year we need to try and have regular practices before the season starts. Some of us (me most definitely) just don’t feel confident out in the field. Plus we don’t know where to throw sometimes. And batting practice would be a good idea too! Thanks for heading up the team… it’s nice to have someone who cares enough to take the lead.
