Bruin | 07.12.2005 | 23:00Here are about a 100 pictures from our weekend trip to the Columbus Zoo. Sue’s cousin Jeff, his wife Sue, their kids, Sue’s dad and sister Christine came down to Columbus this weekend. We took them to the Zoo on Saturday in the heat. Most of the animals were smarter than we were, they were sleeping in the shade and we were walking around all day in the sun. The kids fell asleep in their stroller for about half the trip, and I wished that I had a stroller to sleep in as well. So look at a few of the pictures and ignore the rest.

Bruin | 07.08.2005 | 0:03We finally stayed home last weekend. Whew. We did not get much rest though, because my parents and Sue’s dad and sister came down to visit on Saturday and Sunday. My dad brought down the dressers that he had been working on for my birthday, and Sue’s dad brought down their old grill. On Saturday we only went for a late lunch/early supper to Old Bag of Nails in Upper Arlington. It seems like if we take our parents somewhere and they like it, they like to go back every time they are in town. Oh well. The fish and chips are good. We then came back and watched Hairy Potter 3 and went to bed.
On Sunday we woke up, ate breakfast and headed out for some shopping. Sue and the girls for some new clothes and I was searching for hardware for the dressers. Long day told short. Sue tried on a billizzion pieces of cloths and we sat around after looking at expensive hardware at The Great Indoors for about 5 minutes. We made it to home depot where I spent 220 dollars on hardware, some paint for the bed room and all the stuff I needed to finish the dressers.
On Monday the Fourth, I woke up at 7:30 and was sanding the dressers by 8:30…Sue woke up around 1pm and watched movies all day. I got in about 9 hours of sanding in.
Here are a few pictures of the dressers/cabinets in there present state and the drawing I gave my dad to build them off of. How many differences can you spot??
