Hutzul Night invloves dressing in the traditional Ukie blouses and eating dinner. I had flown home by now and Sue and the rest of the Creadys spent the day at Woodstock.

After posting a regular season record of 6-4 and coming in second place we advanced to our league tournament.

With all of the rain-out the first place game was not determined until Wednesday night.
The winner of that game would advance to the “Champ of Champs” tournament and the loser would have to stick around and play the winner of the game between our team and the fourth place team.

We were really tight in our first game against the Roids, and won in our last at bat in the seventh inning, 6-5.

In our second game on Wednesday we faced O’Reilly’s, which had beat us twice before.
We ended up playing a great game and won 11-9. With the win we advanced to the Champ of Champs tournament, with our game scheduled for the next day at 6:15.

Game One on Thursday turned out to be the easiest of the two days. We beat the Misfits 13-3.

Game two on Thursday was against the most athletic team we faced all season. Kegler Brown was without any obvious deficientcies. K.B. was ahead at the top of the seventh inning 7-4, when their number 1 hitter had a solid hit in the gap, with another runner on second. Chad made a great throw to second base as the batter was going for a double. The tag was made for the third out a second before the runner reached home.

All we we did then in the bottom of the seventh was, Scott hit a triple to score Chad and Jenny. Darcy then singled to first, but it was not enough for Scott to reach home. Chris then came up to bat with one out and with a sacrifice fly we had won our fourth game in two days.

We were one bunch of tired players. We then had to wait around for a mens league game and then were back on the field for game three of the night.

Stiffler’s Car Star was playing the first game of the week and were smart enough to scout us for the previous two games. They were a rough looking bunch of players, and the crankeist, poor sports we played all year. One of their players was ejected, and of course we lost. If it was not our fifth game in 24 hours we defiantly could have played better than to a 10-5 loss.

We all ended brused and battered, with Sue getting a great big goose egg after taking a line shot in the shin. And everyone was limping around at work, but it was definatly a lot of fun. Sue is going to be mad at me though, if she can not play volleyball on Monday because of her leg.

My last full day at the resort, I risked the pool and survived. We played some volleyball and I read my book. Nothing much of note, wich is what vacations should be about.

Steak night used to mean drinks, horderves and some steak. They skipped the horderves and the regulars were pretty upset. Just some silly photos from after dinner.
