kind of bruin

Vince, Ellen, and Tom were in town last Friday on their way from North Carolina to Cleveland. We took off work and took the boys to the zoo. I think this was Ewan’s about forth trip to the zoo and this visit was the most he has been interested in the animals. He also thinks running from us is pretty funny, which made the child leashes we saw all the more attractive. Note to self. Going to the zoo and thinking it won’t be crowded during the on a Friday near the end of the school year on the before a holiday weekend is not a correct thought.

Ewan and I drove to McComb to visit Granna’s side of the family. We enjoyed the pretty, but windy and cold day, the chickens, and all of the aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Sue unfortunately had to stay home because her work expects all the unpaid overtime that she can give them.

Sue and her Start buddies, Sarah and Janell Sara and Jenell, went to Rock the Range last weekend to see Stone Temple Pilots. They took many pictures of themselves and a few of the stage and sunset.

We took some pictures at the end of April with the Weeping Cherry Tree, and some ducks who were in our back yard.

Happy Mothers Day to all of the Moms, Grandmas, Step-Moms, Aunts, Motherly Figures, and Single Dads out there.  We would not be here and/or who we are without you.  We really should celebrate your contributions more, but today is the day for cards, flowers, and making your life a little bit easier.
