Marching

This guy is a marching fool. You can’t really hear the band here, but it’s Ewan marching and blowing his straw.

Hawaii I

We are currently in Hawaii visiting Sue’s college roommate Terri, her husband, Ben, and her children, Emily and Levi. After heading to NWOhio for Christmas Eve and Christmas day, we flew out on the Day after Christmas for the Rainbow State.

We connected on all our scheduled flights, though the Chicago leg was delayed for an hour, causing us to have to sprint for the next flight in San Fransisco. The thrill of flying must have worn thin for Ewan on the last flight, as when boarding he just said that he wanted to go home. Oahu was very eerie to fly over as the power was out and only cars and ships had lights. After a half hour at the gait waiting for a way off the plane, we were done flying for a couple of weeks.

These photos are from the first couple of days here. A trip to the neighborhood park, turtle beach, Ewan marching to OSU songs, the lagoons beach, and Ewan mowing the yard.

chocolate, dance, & conversation

Logie dancing again. This time to a Guitar Hero inspired dance. She even got to karaoke to the Beatles “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” at the end of the performance.

She was also featured on the Poster for the event (seen above) and all around campus.

Ewan and Santa

Ewan with Santa

After a week of talking up Santa. Ewan was already to go and see him…until we got in line.  As we got closer and closer to actually sitting on the Jolly Elf’s lap, Ewan got very quiet and very clingy.  By the time we were there he was just throwing a fit and wanting to go to the Buckeye shop so he could hug a Ewan sized Brutus doll, whom daddy meanly took away.
