Ellen and Tommy came for a too short visit last weekend. Ewan was very proud of all of his toys and had to show Tom and Ellen all of them. It was fun and strange to see a 1 year old again toddling around hunting for dog food and what not.

Sledding
Jan 29

A couple of weeks ago Grandpa Ron and I went sledding, while Ewan cried and wanted held by mommy. The two trips she took him down the kiddy hill were too much for him. He would have rather walked around the snow in our yard, but we dragged him to the park during his nap time. Next time we are going to buy some better sleds, and take him earlier in the day.

Apparently Bruin wants me to learn how to blog at midnight, so here goes…
Ewan and I had three more days of fun in the sun after Bruin flew back to Ohio. These are some pictures of our final beach visit, a dinner out, and an open-gymnastics session for the kids. There are also a few pictures of the Utah Memorial, which we visited on Bruin’s last day. The vacation was lovely, and we miss our friends and the sunshine.
Hawaii IV

We went to a cooler than the pictures show tiki bar, I body surfed and we all got sand blasted at Sunset Beach, and I took way to many pictures at the Lu’au. The Lu’au’s major disappointments were the lack of Mai-tai’s and female midriffs due to the people that owned the place (BYU-HI). Other than that they put on a great show.
Hawaii III

Hawaii III, is just one day of our vacation, January 2, 2008. We drove over to the windward side of the island to the Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden. We saw some plants and fed the ducks, along the way we got very muddy and mosquito bitten. After feeding a nice duck couple, the rest of the sord figured out there was bread to be had, and trekked up the hill and mobbed the kids and one snatched some bread out of Emily’s hand.
We then drove along the coast and stoped at an overlook and took some pictures. After we got the kids back home for a nap, I headed over and visited the USS Misouri and saw the USS Utah memorial.
There are some othere photos of the kids playing in the house. Levi just gets a kick out of Ewan. They both just laugh and smile at each other. Ewan is Levi’s personal performing monkey.
