I took Ewan to the Zoo so Sue could have some time to do work. He enjoyed playing and sitting on the sculpture animals. He was disappointed that the playground was closed, but enjoyed the fish, flamingos, the rhino, and elephants.

Marcus and Pearl Visit

and Andrea and Granna and Grandpa Ray too. Last weekend the family came down for a visit and to watch Loganne’s dance. Mostly Ewan and baby Marcus pictures but one or two of everyone else. Also, my parents newest baby dog, Pearl, came down and reminded Darcy what it was like to be an annoying bundle of sharp puppy teeth and non-stop energy. Though she is better than the human babies as she is house trained (for the most part).
This Season

Last Saturday we went to the OSUdance’s Winter Concert: This Season. Cousin Loganne performed in one of the dances. Most of the rest are here as well.
Ewan went as to his first dance recital and was a very good for most of the performances. He was traumatized by the extra dance ‘Tree’ in which “the guy hurt her”. This is Ewan’s version of when when the girl in a Darth Vader mask stabbed and killed a tree with a light saber. Unfortunately, Ewan was in my lap during this part of the show, and no pictures were taken of the life, death, and rebirth of a tree, the love of said tree by a squirrel and some hippies.
T-Ball

One crazy 70 degree March day resulted in Ewan getting to use his t-ball set out side. He hit a couple in the street and had a fun time whacking the “T”.
OSU vs Northwestern

We went to our first basketball game of the season, which was also the Buckeyes last regularly scheduled game.
Ewan was mostly interested in where Brutus was (over there) and when it was the ladies turn to come out on the floor.
