Twikle Twikle Little Old McDonald Had a Lion Baa Baa White Sheep

Ewan Singing on one of our drives around the park. I think this might have been when we went to Oxford to get some dinner.
Hueston Woods
May 30th
Memorial Day weekend we spent at Hueston Woods, near Oxford Ohio.
When arriving late Friday night to set up camp, we found the site occupied by another family setting up their camper. Evidently they had accidentally booked the site for April instead of May. I’m sure it sucked for them to have packed up to go camping and have to drive back home. Lucky for us they were late comers as well and were able to leave soon.
The rest of the weekend was relaxing and fun: hiking, swimming, playing, and enjoying the cold showers and the full campground.
Circus
May 25th
We took Ewan to the circus last weekend. It was fun, well except for the 12 dollar cotton candy and the 8 dollars of pop corn. Ewan was enthralled throughout, and while cheesy, a fun time was had by the parents (for the most part).
Cleveland Rocks
May 21st
We spent a Mother’s Day weekend in Cleveland to see Sue’s cousin Jeff and the family. We got to go to Livy’s soccer game, a first communion and dinner, a long nap, and a party all on Saturday.
Sunday we ate a nice brunch and played in the park.
