Ewan and I attended his best bud’s birthday party. They have been in the same daycare since they were born.

They got to romp around at the Y. Ewan mostly played basketball, what a good boy. Then they ate pizza and cake, followed with some presents.

We moved so we have been busy, but here are a few pictures from the old house and a few from the new.
Ewan riding his bike and laying on the dog from the old hood, and watching tv in a bucket, raking leaves, the new house, and videos of jumping in the leaves from the new one.

Libby and Baby Zoe, Ewan gets Wall-E and EVE for pooping on the pottie, Sue goes to Katie’s bachelorette party, we go to the art fair where a guy is carrying his cat around in a pouch, and Ewan eats some ice cream.

For Everyone else this is a vanity list all about me:
1. I can juggle (and was required by my highs school gym class to learn this skill) .

2. I bacame alergic to hugs about 5 years ago. Pressure on my skin gives me hives, this is a especially a problem when swimming.  Most of the time my allergy pills do the trick and I’m not itchy all of the time.

3. I like most kinds of beer except anything with the word light or lime in the title.

4. I put my kid to sleep most nights, but when he is not feeling well he would rather have his mom.

5. Sue and I had a conversation recently that boiled down who was nerdier in high school…She was president of NHS, I was only a member, I was secretary of Student Council, she was Student Body Government secretary, she was a Homecoming nominee, I was math student of the year for three years.  We were both in the same Pompeii Odyssey of the Mind crap, I was third (of thirty) she was tenth (of 300).  We came to the conclusion that our children will probably have a hard time living up to our nerdy expectations.

6. I was married in a Ukrainian Catholic Church by a Priest from India. “Bruan and Susuan”

7. I have voted for a Republican only once. The first time GWB was running, I voted for McCain in the primary because I disliked Bush enough to switch parties to vote against him.

8. I wanted to be a civil engineer to design big cool stuff.  I am currently design roads. big boring stuff.

8a. I think may I want to be an architect to design big cool stuff, but realistically would end up designing elementary school bathrooms. And then my dream of becoming an architect stops.

9. My favorite food is bread.  Sour dough, Vienna bread, and whatever bread they serve at macaroni grill.

10. I alphabetize our books, dvds, and cds. My three year old can pick out the all of his kids dvds by their spine.

11. I named our dog after Mr. Darcy. From the BBC mini series “Pride and Prejudice” biased on the book by the same title by Jane Austin.

12. I like to play with Ewan’s Lego’s more than he does.

13. I like to draw, read books, build things, but spend most of my free time surfing the web.

14. I would rather build or have my dad build our furniture than buy it.  The slow development period (years) of idea to completed piece causes some problems with the wife.

15. The first time Sue and I went out we went to a midnight showing of “They Bite”. She was working at the front desk and I asked her if she wanted to go to a midnight showing of a movie made by an OSU graduate.  She said yes.  The director and local strippers were at the theatrical premiere of a very bad monster movie.

16. I am a fan of mid-century modern architecture and furniture and want to eventually design and build my own house.

17. I have taken the wedding photos for five weddings.  All but one are still together. While I enjoy taking the pictures, I freek out the week before the wedding thinking something is going to be screwed up and everything will go wrong.

18. I am a terrible speller.  My wife is an editor. It works for us.

19. We both are night owls and tend to wake up like bears from hibernation. That does not work so well for us.

20. I love camping, but hate the preparation.

21. I dislike packing my or Ewan’s lunch.

22. I like technology. The camera, laptop, pods, apple tv, dvr. I would have more except for the whole paying a second mortgage for the kids daycare payment thing.

23. My kid has had two last names in his lifetime.  He was Baby Cready for 4 days until we decided on naming him after an actor, Sue’s grandfather, and my last name.

24. I won’t make fun of you if I don’t like you. To those of you that I have made cry; I’m Sorry.

25. My wife was disappointed/annoyed/angry in me for voting for Barack during the democratic primary.  She is/was a big Hillary supportor, I ordered an Obama sweatshirt and donated $25 to piss her off.
